Hope all of our Annapolis Area Browns Backers had a GREAT Thanksgiving holiday! With Tiffany at home this year instead of working an emergency room shift, we certainly did 🙂
We’ve also got the benefit of having this Sunday to chillax and keep our heart rates down, as the Brownies don’t play again until Monday night! (I’m looking on the bright side…I prefer all games to be 1:00 PM games…)
Here’s the agenda to keep you spirited through this holiday weekend:
- It’s Now Definitive – The Steelers Suck!
- Can We Get a 2-game Win Streak Going???
- George Pickens is a Confused Baby
Onward and upward!
Game 10: Cleveland 24 | Pittsburgh 19
Summary: Our beloved Brownies (previously 2-8) came out in the snow to take down the division leading Pittsburgh Steelers (previously 8-2) at home!
What a great show this was to watch with our small Thursday night crowd at Romilo’s! We had a few Raven’s fans rooting for us as well, which we weren’t mad at.
Reviewing the team stats, it’s impressive that we came away with a win. But, as it turns out, the only stat that matters is the final score. Eat it Pittsburgh!
This may have been one of the best days of my entire life.
I hope you all got to enjoy as well.
Game 11: Cleveland (3-8) @ Denver (7-5)
So, the big question of the day is….can we win two games in a row???
I know it sounds impossible, but we gotta have faith! Our Browns can do this. Especially, with another prime time game slot where we tend to outplay our opponents’ expectations.
One way or the other, we’ll be at GLORY DAYS to cheer on our team!
(By the way, you can always check out our viewing location schedule for the entire season at the top of the page. This should help keep things from getting confused.)
I Love it When Big Babies Cry!
George Pickens – a notorious butthole with a gigantic ego and a tiny….brain, who has unfortunately also proven to be one of the leagues top performing receivers, had this today about Pittsburgh’s loss to Cleveland:
“Conditions played a huge, huge part in today’s game,” Pickens said, via Brooke Pryor of ESPN. “I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. I think the conditions kind of saved them today.” (more here)
Apparently, Pickens was completely unaware that Cleveland was playing in those same, snowy conditions! Or he was just fine with the fact that a team who plays in a city that experiences an average of over 44 inches of lake effect snow each year….can’t play football in the snow….
What a friggin’ turd. I hope his baby tears didn’t ruin his makeup.
Heavy.com’s Dave Holcomb knows what I’m talkin’ about:
Steelers 2-Time Super Bowl Champion Goes Off on George Pickens: ‘Needs to Grow Up’
A little humility goes a long way, and recognizing where your team, and you personally might have been able to play better is probably a more helpful approach than blaming the weather and hoping it doesn’t precipitate any time you play football…but, hey, he is young. He still has time.
Anyways, let’s hope it stays dry next game so we can beat them in the sunshine.
LET’S GO BROWNIES!!!
